Max Mitchell first became interested in the UFO Phenomena during the mid 1960's when he read the Book "Interrupted Journey", The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction Case. After graduating from High School in 1965, Max served in the Military during the Vietnam War, and was discharged in 1969. In the Mid 90's Max was introduced to MUFON by a friend and kindred spirit, and has been a Member since. After retiring in 2005, Max moved to North Eastern Tennessee, became a Field Investigator in 2006, and State Chief Investigator in 2008.

Steve White has been a police detective/ investigator for 30+ years, first in Miami, Florida and now Tennessee. He has been a MUFON Field Investigator for since 2007 in the East Tennessee area. Steve says he approaches UFO investigations with a skeptics view, to weed out the hoaxes or explained sightings. "I believe 99% of the cases are explainable or are hoaxes, done for publicity" Steve says. "But, that leaves the 1% of real cases. I would love to be the one who proves, scientifically without a doubt, that UFOs exist." Steve says as of now, he hasn't run across the concrete proof that he's looking for...at least not yet! He waits to capture a UFO and/or it's occupants, for all the world to see!

Don & Debbie Craft live in rural Afton, Tennessee, and became Field Investigators after getting married so that they could participate in each other's interests.As Tennessee MUFON's only husband/wife investigative team, Don and Debbie make a thorough and effective pair. "I catch things she misses, and she catches things that I miss" Don says. They have been investigating together for over 20 years and counting!
